I didn't say best, I said complete, as in Rooney can play virtually anywhere on the pitch.

He defends, he can play in CM, LM (even though he's right footed, so I'd assume RM too) CAM, and Striker.

Can Messi, RVP, and Ronaldo play in all these positions?

RVP would make a quality cm or cam. he's got the vision to play there and his passing is brilliant. oh and he's played out wide to early on in his career. but i see what you mean about rooney. he's better at defending than robin but robin is better at everything else

RvP has played CAM, as a second forward, also on the right wing and left wing, as well as being a handsome lone striker.

But i suppose, RvP is a Natsy and a homophobe

In relation to Rooney. I heard that argument from one of my friends that he is 'the most complete'. Well no he isn't, if he was to be played at CB like many Man U fans were to say then he would get slaughtered, same with full back. Just because he tracks back doesn't mean he could be a defender.
