Surely we must currently have the worst defence we have had in at least ten years. If AVB cannot see this he MUST go.
It hurts me to say it but JT's best days are behind him. Luiz can go back to the circus he came from. He is quite simply a joke and not worth £23m, more like £0.23p. Cole is no longer the mister dependable he was and Ivanovic is not a right back.
Add to this a midfield lacking invention and slow and we are going to be left behind this season. RA has to make a tough decision.
For me it's simple get AVB out (he is out of his depth). Get Hiddink back now. For me he was the most accomplished manager we have had since Mourinho. Give him the time and money to rebuild our Chelsea and we will be back at the top.
I'll probably get slagged off by a lot of die hard blues for these comments, but trust me it won't get any better until AVB can sort this defence out. AT THE MOMENT THEY ARE A COMPLETE JOKE AND WE HAVE THE REST OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE LAUGHING AT CHELSEA AS A COMEDY SHOW.

If AVB had any football knowledge he would see that Cech, Cole, Ivanovic, Terry, Luiz are very very average premier league defenders.

Yes the defense is a problem. But sacking a coach will not solve the problem. The solution is sitting on our bench. We have younger, hungrier, and energetic players who can come in and give Chelsea another dimension. Sturridge came on and gave Chelsea a lift. Terry, Lampard, Cole, and Drogba should now look to be substitutes. Until AVB addresses this and understand that the high line will not work with these players, chelsea will continue to leak goals. Luiz was fantastic going forward, but again leaves space at the back. He needs to move into the midfield where his talents will better suited. AVB has big decisions to make. At the moment we don't look like a top 4 side. Midtable at best.

He didn't buy any, but he selects them. There's a difference. As manager he should see what we all see - that the defence is a shambles and most of them are playing on past memories.

I still don't get why Torres came on so late. What's the point? It's almost a time-wasting substitution at that stage.
