.. Here's one for the Leeds fans that post on this board.
"I have been lucky to see three league top titles won personally, FA and League Cup triumphs and success in Europe.
But the thing is, how many of you have tasted real success, been there and actually seen it, had the lock in in the pub afterwards? The last time I saw it, we were still in the Town Hall Tavern about 2am the following morning, singing!!
There appear to be a considerable number that have never even sniffed success, which are you?
For how many, is the promotion from the 1st Division under Simon Grayson, the only success you have actually celebrated?
Be honest now.

I can't reply to the pickled onions posts cos he continually uses the filter button on me. He doesn't like me attacking him about his verbal abuses towards other members.
Mr Pickled Onion,
I think it's obvious to everyone with an ounce of common sense (obviously more than you have) that many fans today wouldn't have been around during the periods you mentioned, if they were we'd be known as the Leeds United Pensioners Supporters Club....LUPSC.
Reading between lines, you obviously tried to big note yourself while attempting to belittle others by claiming you have tasted all that success.
You are obviously very insecure and needed to write something that may falsely elevate you in the eyes of others, at 54yrs old you are obviously still very childish.
For you to write something like that tells people that you like to big note yourself, try to falsely elevate your status and pretend you know lots about football, when in actual fact, you continually abuse and try to belittle others without offering any details, facts or knowledge pertaining to football, LUFC or the comments posted by others.
For the record, most homes had tellys back then.

Mr Onion is a poor tortured soul who has nothing in life apart from this rubbish forum to try and patch up his terrible insecurity...

Is Eric 54? So am I ...
Eric, if you were at the Boxing Day match vs Newcastle in 1970, I was the lad in the white roll-neck jumper with blue and gold hoops at the front of the kop, smoking Peter Stuyvesant cigarettes ...
