Great result yesterday. I thought we deserved the points and put in a great shift. In particular our full backs were outstanding. Having Glen and Jose gives us so many more options when going forward.
At 1 - 1 when Torres and Meireles came on I could see the writing on the wall, I thought the script was written. Luckily Torres is not the player he was and had no influence whatsoever.
Maxi did it again and showed touches of class. I was surprised when I saw him in the line up but credit to Kenny, he got the team and formation spot on in my opinion. Bellamy looked inspired in that role (particularly for the goal with his unselfishness and quality). Lucas and Adam are developing a good understand in the middle, they both worked really hard yesterday and never let the Chelsea midfield settle. Suarez did the usual and was top notch. He epitomises the never give up attitude, this was most evident when when he didn't give up on a lost ball and won us a corner in the second half, most players would have just let it go.
David Luiz came in for a lot of criticism after the game and rightly so. He was poor. Also, his petulance towards Kuyt in the first half when the ball went out of play shows what a character he is. Many players would have made more of this and gone down holding their face etc. This could have given the ref a decision to make. Luckily for Luiz Kuyt just got on with. Also, surely Alex is a much better centre back and he didn't even make the bench?!
Plus, I'd like to ask; why do the FA go on and on about fair play and yet allow Chelsea to have a Robot in goal. Double standards.

draw would've been fair
excellent 1st half, not great but decent second half.

I wondered why we didnt press so high in the second half. At times we were sat on the 12 yard line and it was frustrating the life out of me. When I saw Torres and Meireles coming on I thought the script was written as well.
I think Suarez looked tired but he picked up an injury on international duty and maybe this Evra thing was playing on his mind.
At times its like watching us when Roy Evans was in charge. Play well against the bigger teams and then drop points against the promoted teams such as Swansea.

Reina´s brilliant save was the turning point in the end.
I don´t think Liverpool would have recovered from conceding 2 goals in as many minutes.
A draw or a win for either side would have been justified as over 90 minutes it was very close.

Lampard has been playing well recently for Chelsea, the fact that no-one noticed him is testament to how well Lucas played.

He got the ball a couple of times in them six minutes and his final ball was awful.
Henderson didn't have long and had some great touches.
