Can Arsenal win the league

I know quite a few people will laugh this off, but lately I have been giving it thought and it is possible. I will be frank and make it clear that I doubt City will go down the table and I half expect them to lift the title but I believe positions 2 and below are very much up for grabs and given the fact that we were in the mix last season even in March why not expect us to pounce if City do drop points.

We aren’t as fluid and exciting as previous seasons, but I cant shake the feeling that we are morer efficient and solid. Of all the top 6 teams since opur regrettable and shocking defeat to Blacburn we seem to dispose of the so called smaller teams easily as compatred to how laboured it has been for United,Chelsea,Liverpool and to an extent City.

I know most people say it’s the big games between the top teams that determine where the title will go but I beg to differ because this time we have a strong top 6 rather than top 3(It was never a top 4, Liverpool weren’t good enough except the season were Rafa got Torres and Gerrard to click)

So ultimately what I am getting at is the clinical teams against the so called smaller teams will be key.

I know this argument also gives Spurs a chance but somehow Spurs just don’t have the nerve and defense top produce the goods in April and may. They are an excellent side, possibly the most free flowing side in the prem at the moment along with City but I still think that defence isn’t that great.

With Wilshere back, and Vermalean keeping things solid at the back, why not.We may not hold on to the ball as seasons past due to the loss of Cesc and Nasri but with jack back and the additional pace of Theo and Gervinho we are still a nightmare for most teams.
