Adebayor

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7325343/Adebayor-eyeing-Spurs-stay

Very interesting quotes here. Says he would like to make a permanent move to Spurs, which affirms what we've been seeing - he's happy with us. He's playing regularly, the team's doing great, he loves Harry and the fans have mostly really taken to him - what's not to like.

The major sticking point has always been his wages, but he says money's not the be-all and end-all, and that he doesn't even keep 100% of his wages at the minute, donating money regularly to charity projects in Togo.

We'll see, but if he plays for the rest of the season as he has done, I'll happily take him on board. Not the perfect striker, but who else are we going to get as easily as this?

That to me sounds like he wants to stay and sign permanently without really going to much into it, that's great news and let's hope Levy is sorting out a deal as we speak. Hopefully we can have him signed properly in jan maybe?

He may not be clinical but he is one helluva striker.

Imagine if he finished his chances . If he could then he would maybe be better than Raul

Why would you guys want Ade permanently anyway?

This is a guy who has a track record of causing problems, rifts in the dressing room, a guy who has always done well at clubs to begin with (Arsenal, City) only to lose interest and turn into a waste of space

This isnt to mention his ridiculous wages and his likely price tag.

Why not use Ade as a temporary solution and then sue the next few months to find a real solution

Arsenal fans were in love with him to begin with, he was the eprfect foil for Henry it seemed, then it all went sour

City fans adored him to begin with, he was their first choice striker, loked a bargain, then it all went sour

Who knows though. He may well be the erfect signning for Spurs if he does sign permanently.
