What with Ronnie Wallwork's recent exploits, we have a right old (allegedly) criminal fraternity among our exes.
I like the way they list him being ex-Wednesday behind Swindon & Villa despite having played more games for us than any other club and having easily the best period of his career at Hillsborough.

Key line is "runs the Dolphin Pub", must be either dodgy clientele or dodgy beer and spirits. I am sure the phrase "fell off the back of a truck" will be part of the defence!!
Seriously though, always a shame to see ex-players get into stuff like this. But he is innocent until proven guilty!!

Sat ere like Billy no mates in the weatherspoons in Coventry. Can we come up with an Owls Jailbird 11? I'll make a start with: Sterland ( that safe that turned up in his garage ), palmer (drink driving), bronco Kay & swan (betting). Any other offers?

Hmm.. not sure. Owen Morrison was once arrested, bailed but not subsequently charged after an infamous Owls xmas party in Leeds a few years back.Deeper into the past and the great Fred Spiksley was, amongst his many colourful exploits, once arrested for illegal betting.
Maybe they should all have a word with Eddie Prudham who,I believe was (and may still be) a Prison Officer!
Incidentally, some of the stolen goods received by Kingy were some packets of Saxo and some Duracells. He's being charged with Salt & Battery.
I'll go now.

Sad to hear that, I used to work not far from there and the Dolphin wasn't what you'd describe as a bad pub, or in a bad area.
Tell me more about this pie Alf, sounds good but I'm deeply concerned about the presence of leek in it - the only vegetable that should be in a pie is gravy! Did you try the Bovril and if so how was it?
