Limited midfield, over run with wingers, half a defence, star goalkeeper not signed but we are desperate for a new striker...

Sounds like another season of players forced to play out of position......I just hope Millen knows what he's doing..
For now, I will see how it pans out with the signings etc and will reserve my judgement until the start of the new season.....

Perhaps it is Clarkson a new striker is wanted for I have a feeling from the few matches I have watched and have seen on TV and highlights Clarkie might be a midfield player more than a striker because he seems to do better arriving late than as an out and out Striker, mind you have been saying this for a year and he always seems to get picked as a forward so what do I know LOL. Having said that I'm not sure what this lad is going to bring to the party unless the club sees something in him that doesn't show up in his stats, mind you looking at Alberts stats when he was signed didn't look too exciting plus a lot of us were worried about Jon Stead as he had apparently lost interest in working hard for the side at Ipswich, but different managers at different clubs get more from certain players if they see something others don't. Thats what clubs employ scouts/coaches and managers for if you think about it to see the signs of good players others don't if not why employ them they could get Joe Bloggs or any of his friends off the street the day before each match on a daily contract to manage the club, thinking about it didn;t QPR until last year do something similar change managers as often as the players socks and Rovers looked like they were doing something similar last year Lawrence,Trollope,Penny,The Tea Lady,Campbell now Buckle and see where that got them(you got it Division 4).

I mentioned the other day that I had never heard of this bloke and he had a bad goals ratio, but im told by my mate in work (who knows his stuff) that Taylor is a good player. Strong good with the ball and a cracking left foot. I think this could be a good signing, look at Holts record he was lingering in the lower leagues in his younger years. Im just trying to make sense of it if im wrong hang me but if im not you heard it here first Ryan Taylor will be good for us. (If nicky leaves and hes higher in the pecking order)
