"Rangers FC’s majority shareholders have settled an alleged unpaid bill owed to a legal firm out of court.

The Rangers FC Group Ltd, which was established by owner Craig Whyte earlier this year, was being pursued over a debt of less than £3000 by Edinburgh-based legal firm Fyfe Ireland.

The case was due to call at the small claims court in Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, however a court clerk confirmed the matter had been settled and was no longer being followed by either party."
