Anelka has resigned to Leaving Chelsea this January or Summer, so obviously a few fans with obvious love for him will have to question..
Would you like him back?
Could we see a deal say £5m + Anelka for Cahill?
Is that something that Chelsea and Bolton fans alike would be supportive of?
Obviously Nic was 29 when he left us for £15m in 2008, being at the back end of his peak years could he be someone who we could utilise and bring back to get the fans excited again?
We would still have £5m left over which could be used to sign Onouha from City and possibly another winger? Thoughts?

Volley vs Everton for me.

Yeah I think the Everton one too, ridiculously good technique, don't think I've seen a more sweetly hit volley in the flesh.. Except for one I scored in doubles last year.. 25 yards curling volley into top corner, I was christened Shearer after that, mainly due to my recessing hairline probably actually..

Still think this was among one of the best goals I have seen at the Bok. The link doesn't work, but just copy and paste: http://youtu.be/Bhsadps4b0Q
How could they refer to us as a long ball hoofers when we could do this?
Be grateful if someone can post the Everton volley, because I can't remember seeing that one.

Cheers LH! Wow! What talent! I have no idea where I was for that Everton game, but I can't recall it at all. It was some goal tho eh. My favourite was the Arsenal game more so for the misses before that led up to it. After watching that I would have him on loan until the end of the season. A final swansong.

Watching that clip you posted LH i got goosebumps. That Everton volley was some goal, that definately my favourite.
There was a debate on who was the best finisher BWFC ever had, some of the goals he scored, on his day he was the best striker in the PL for me.
In terms of the most technically gifted players, Anelka surely is no.1 or no.2?

I'm not so sure Nik would be the type of player who'd want to get embroiled in a projected relegation battle ...It's a bit of a difference joining a bottom 3 team, compared to a top 7 team who's pushing for 3rd-4th (which is what we were when he joined us). He'll have plenty of choices (all paying double / treble what we can afford, wage-wise) when he leaves Chelsea, so, nice thought as it is, in reality, I think it's better we look elsewhere (with defence the major priority).

The best thing about Anelka first goal for bwfc,
He hadnt scored in his first 10 or so league games with us, Media were slating him and writing him off....and then that goal. He didnt look back...21 goals in his next 40 league games.

Nik was (surprisingly) good as gold at Bolton ..Mind you, he'd never had Scary Sam as a manager before
