Fixtures

Although they are not officially out yet, I can confirm that our opening fixture will be Everton at home with United away the next game. Other fixtures you may find of interest: Fulham home last game of season, Norwich away boxing day and Arsenal at home 1st October.

Hows thats for ITK.

my mate is a dealer in footie stuff and he buys the odd thing from a guy who works at the club and he told me that the feeling around the place was that he was going to be here for at least another season but things change so quickly

Think it is a good thing to be playin United 2nd game as they are traditionally slow starters.......................

So we play all of last season's top 4 except Man U at home in the 1st half along with Liverpool. that mean in the 2nd half of the season we are away to Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Liverpool!

Oh well we have to play them at some point but I would have preferred it they mixed it up abit.

Everton too are slow starters

I hope so squid, I really do!

greaves, I think it is a good thing to get them this early but we just never seem to get a result at OT anyway so I am never confident!

janswanspur, I think it depends on how much we have added to the squad or who we have lost. if we have a settled side playign teams who have new additions I think it is a benefit.

Its a hard one to judge alright, going by recent times where we've stepped up against the bigger sides and struggled against the weaker team you just never know with Spurs.

We should have a hell of a start to the campaign then!

We have Everton then Man Utd, then Man City

Im putting money on 9 points from 3 games

I too think playing Man Utd earlier could be a good thing. As has been said, they are generally slow starters, plus they will have a few new players that may need time to gel before they make maximum impact - not least a new goalie, and we all know how critical it is to have a good understanding between your defenders & goalkeeper.

I'm happy with that fixture.

Yeh agreed,

Probably best playing them now rather than the middle to end of the season when they are in their prime
