Sunderland ruined Chelsea

I'm sure you all remember it...

3-0 at home...Sunderland...

Began the slump Carlo couldn't get us out of...

Signed us Torres....

Sacked Carlo...

Damaged confidence and belief...

Allowed old tired deadwood to stay...where AVB would have been criticised if he let them all go...gave them a chance...

Suddenly we lose Silly games, and just fall further into the rut.

We've been wishy washy ever since. We've been pretty rubbish for over an entire year, we've done ok in some games, but we hardly ever step up to big games, and were getting worse and worse.

This is some of the worst football i've seen us play under Roman, and unless we clear the deadwood ASAP (should have been the summer) we will get worse and worse and worse.

And anyone who thinks Hiddink in will be bad? Get over it. Hiddink is a tactical genius, and he can inspire old legs but would attract a whole host of top quality players.

Why would the likes of Hazard join a sinking ship? I really really wish we finally break this Sunderland curse and just become the great team we deserve to be!

I have no idea what the problem is. Im starting to think Terry needs to be relieved of his captaincy duties and maybe we need a new captain... Not sure how popular that suggestion will be though.

Hate these players who sit on their salaries and think what they did in the past carries the club. Cant stand you, Lampard for example, Ballack made you look "Ballacks..." last night!

They actually made a very good point on Talk Sport yesterday about Chelsea and changing of their managers. If you had the same manager for the last 3-4 years or so, then the deadwood and players who weren’t performing would have been moved on a long time ago and you would have had a fresh set of players. The fact that you keep changing managers means the new manager comes in looks at the set of players he has and sees what he can do with them, because he probably doesn't know who needs to sold and who doesn't. The result is what you have right now at Chelsea, too many players past it.

Fergie and Wenger know when it’s time to move players on and when to bring in a fresh set for whatever position, it’s THEIR squad. You can't do that when you keep changing managers as it takes time for him to understand the squad he has.

I heard that Mozee, totally true.

But remember Mourinho? First season, sacked like 5-10 players, Hasselbaink, etc.

Should have got in and just built his own team.

Sunderland was actually the game where we finally got caught out. We'd been playing bad for a few games before the 3-0 Sunderland defeat
