Next 8 games

I have a feeling that the next 8 games will be crucial to our season, squad not at it's strongest (injuries, players out of form), imo we needed to strengthen now and not wait until January.

A couple of questions for the faithful;

How many points will we amass from the 24 on offer?
Will we be in the play offs after the Burnley home game?

I think 4 wins, 3 draws and a defeat will mean 15 points which will have us 6th/7th but further away from the top two. Thoughts?

I agree with Tuscany, we've just got to knuckle down an take as many points as possible, going on a wee bit of a run would be nice .
I also think any unrest within the team could have an adverse effect on the next few games, let's hope the players are'nt dwelling on the AoB saga too much

Agreed, but I think most of our upcoming games are more or less winnable, i expect 4 points from our next 2

Then in December I would expect 11 points from the 5 games with Millwall at home and Derby away the hard ones.

In January 12 points out of 12?

February 5 games, none of which are relatively difficult, 13 points.

It's march where we need our players to be fit and ready with some hard games that month.

agreed mcormack - but with Leeds it makes no odds who we play, we could get beat at Palace and then beat Leicester... everybody beats each other, so I'm not sure there are 'winnable' or 'tough' games - I think we need to just keep it tighter at the back, and keep doing what we are doing in attack.... who knows where we'll finish

if we did not win our next 10 games it would be nothing short of a disaster

Yeah I keep forgetting we have an owner who has spared no expense to bring the best talent to the club. Hell, we should be able to give Barca a good drubbing with the squad he's provided.

the january transfer window will be crucial just like it was last season.
Staying in touch until then is the best we can hope for
