Hopefully we carry on our home form next year and we can look at those fixtures as taking points of our rivals. We are slow starts though. Hopefully we pick up our away form and i think we can get 7 points that should be ok from the first 3, hopefully 9 points though

I think we can get 12 points from those 6 games.

Don't forget that Hernandez aside there are none of our players invovled with tournaments - all the players will be on pre-season together and fresh for the start of the campaign. This should help us hit the ground running

Ive a feeling we will start well for a change this season. So we"ll win our first four games then draw the last two.If we have to lose a game give it stoke.

we also didn't make any "real" signings last year - Smalling was a 20 year old centre back and hernandez a relatively unknown striker who was intended to be slowly introduced into the team and premiership football.
The signings of De Gea, Jones and Young (possibly one other) will hopefully get the crowd and the players exicted for the start of the new season

Apart from Smalling, Jones, Welbeck and Cleverley all involved in the u21 tournament happening at the moment that is...
But I suspect you mean the first XI, of which none of these players are yet.

More crucially United's run in, during the squeaky bum period, seems quite reasonable.....
Last 6 games are:
Wigan v United
United v Villa
United v Everton
City v United
United v Swansea
Sunderland v United

Yes, slight oversight on my part but as you say – I doubt they would be in line for a starting spot come kick off in August and its not like they played a huge amount of football last year. Welbeck, Cleverly and Jones got quite a bit of game time but where also injured for periods. If anything I think they will come back from the tournament better for it. They are young – will still get a break once the tournament ends
Plus England might not even get out of the group stage at this rate!

This is ridiculous we play the top 5 teams in the space of 8 games, also Stoke and Bolton away are not the easiest of game.
20/8 spurs (h)
27/8 Arsenal (h)
10/9 Bolton (a)
17/9 Chelsea (h)
24/9 Stoke (a)
1/10 Norwich (h)
15/10 Liverpool (a)
22/10 City (h)
The only consolation is that all of them apart from Liverpool are at home.
