After that disastrous tour of England in Twenty10, two things could’ve happened, either, Pakistan Cricket could’ve gone completely South or risen above the turmoil like they have done. Credit has to go to people like, Misbah-Ul-Haq, who has led Pakistan magnificently.
His safety first approach may not please all, but are we not winning games? Have we not improved? I didn’t understand when some ex-players, fans etc... Used to say at the start of Misbah’s Captaincy that had he not been Captain, he may not have been in the team... Well his record speaks for itself, he has not just led Pakistan well, but he’s been consistent himself. I’m pretty sure he’s been averaging 50+ in both formats since he’s taken over!- On top of that he’s taken, Pakistan out of deep, deep holes, he may do it in a way in, which people don’t like, but at least he takes Pakistan towards the finishing line. Pakistan may not have crossed that finishing line at all times, but at least they’ve came close...

He is perhaps the best skipper/batsman out there now. Takes responsibility in all forms to get the boys home. Just a shame he's 37.

Misbah has a quality record, that cannot be denied. He has a solid average in ODI and Tests and has been a blessing in disguise in the last couple of years in terms of leading pakistan on the field.........
The problem is that, although you say he digs pakistan out of hole, sometimes hes the one that digs that hole in the first place - think semi final!! No-one has an issue with his technique or ability or record, I guess his defensive strategy is sometimes abit confusing and thats what irritates..... Sometimes its works and other times it doesnt.....Life goes on!!!
