I thought we could get out of the 3 post Burnley matchs and we almost got out of the relegation places as well with the defeat of Southampton at Ashton Gate today but the win that Burnley got at Hull means we are still in the same place however we have closed up the table to the extent that we are now within one win of moving clear of the relegation zone plus only 8 points behind Blackpool in the final playoff place.
I said before that it will be really frenetic for the playoff places this season and if we keep this run going for a while yet then we could be in with a shout of getting there ourselves. Have to admit I didn't dare to think of playoff places just a few short weeks ago.
Even Captain Jack Sparrow was nice about us post match on Radio Bristol.
Thats 6 of the 7 points.

Apparently the reason we are still in the bottom 3 Crystal Palace missed a pen against Millwall or we would have climbed above them.

Its just an example of how the situation has changed 6 matches ago when Derek McInnis arrived at the club we were rock bottom with 6 points since he started picking the team we have taken 13 of 15 available points which I think is the best current form in the championship and I did say we would have to keep that sort of form going but I seem to remember a few years back Reading going from the bottom of the table to promotion in one year.
Plus we (I include all football fans) have to be optimistic or most would be suicidal after their team had a bad run.

what CJS was nice about us lol, very good result today and only 8 points from the playoffs, not getting too far ahead but I reckon we could be there at the end of the season but if not it doesn't matter

It's not all the Leeds fans who are anti Simon Grayson, but there are a few who just post thread after thread slagging the guy off .. they disappear for a short time if we string a couple of good results together. I think a lot of people have just got sick of it and no longer bother to post
