The inconsistencies we kept seeing from LUFC could be that Grayson has now reached his max re level of managerial expertise...
Could be he hasn't got the experience to up the ante amongst his staff and his players....
He achieved much for LUFC over last 2 seasons but think it is time to get someone with more experience to guide LUFC if the club is serious re trying to get promotion into the EPL..
Maybe Grayson has reached his level ...

Just read this summary of their game on the Leicester board. On your topic, I fear you may be rtight but believe the problems also rest elsewhere. I struggle to imagine how we will get a decent manager to replace SG (decent as in able to get us up with the ample funds KB provides).
Anyway, the post on the Leicester board (somehow it resonated with me):
"Yep, happy with the point today and I think it's hard fought results like these that are the backbone to any successful Championship side. Defence sounded decent and Kasper outstanding again when called upon. King though seemed anonymous in midfield and we sounded better when Danns came on so I wouldn't be surprised to see Neil come in mid-week.
Blackpool will probably be a more open game given the way they play and that seems to suit us and it might suit someone like Beckford especially because he likes to have space to run in-behind and Blackpool will probably give him that. A win should see us in the play-offs and we're looking up now and as long as we're in and around the upper echelons and then strengthen in January with at least a winger then I think we're well placed to kick on in the 2nd half of the season.
And to answer what was said on the radio, Nugent my player of the season so far with Schmeichel a close second."

to add, we can spout on all we like about whats wrong, or like a few on here, try to pretend its all fine and dandy. I am not sure I know any more, but there are so many things that do not feel right about Leeds at the moment, to name a few:
results all over the place
no momentum
some players seem not to have a lot of heart
good players keep leaving (always followed by acidic comments)
targeted signings don't happen
loanees don't work out (usually)
manager says things that sound inconsistent with how fans report things
KB's excellent and illuminating comments
we even have a player refusing to play
Rabuchka hung out to dry (not saying we should not have got rid, but seemed very public to me)
plus continued BS trying to keep us expecting great things, around the corner
attendances down - used to be number 1, used to get over 30k for big games
It feels bad to me

2020,
Totally agree with everything you said.
Grayson reached his level, if he actually had one back in L1 when we were 11 points clear and had to eventually fight for a point to get 2nd spot.
Obvious back then he didn't have the necessary abilities and know how to halt our slide which saw us just stop inside the top 6, eventually grabbing 2nd by the skin of our eye lids.
I didn't like grayson then, saw writing on wall back then and my opinion ain't changed but does get strengthened and justified after nearly every game.
Many attempted to ridicule me back then but I knew what was coming, and it happened first season in CCC.
We occupied top 6 positions, even No2 at one stage, only to slide backwards and out of the top 6. 7th may well have been 77th, doesn't matter, we still slid backwards like we did in L1.
Grayson at Blackpool had a team full of loanees, with a few exceptions, he's been doing the same here, he'll never change.
He's arrogant, ignorant, ugly and he has the players feeling disgruntled, still; again, he'll never change.
He got rid of nearly all of maccas players and other good players, most seem to be playing much better away from Leeds, including Ankers.
I said earlier that this is the 1st season Grayson won't have the Maccas players, so it's going to show what he's really worth, even though we occupy spot 5 at moment, that will change.
I've always said it, Grayson thinks tactics is a small packet of mints.
Thing is, a lot of fans, even on here, are starting to open their eyes and see the light.

Grayson has definitely reached his level. Alan Curbishley for manager.

It appears to me that Grayson is simply not bright enough when it comes to transfers, player management and to some extent tactics.
Excuses about not having enough money etc. don't wash. Whether we can get a better manager remains to be seen but it's clear that we are not going to reach the prem under SG.
And it's not bring fickle as the warning signs have been there after 6 months of him being in charge.
He's arrogant and pig headed because he knows he's out of his depth. But he's not bright enough to ask for help.

Left the game yesterday unsurprised by the result, prob for the first time in a few years, I don't know how we are 5th, because we don't deserve to be, listened to SG on Yorkshire radio on the way home and was just tripe, had enough, I actually think we have a good set of players and one or two exceptional players all underperforming. I watched burnley last week and thought we were lucky to get anything from that, a change is needed, SG will be feeling the pressure. I hope he turns it around.

He hasnt got a plan B either, his subs are always to late, ill timed and most certainly like for like. Paul Lambert would go into half time 2-0 /2-1 down at HT and come out in the second half in a 343, they have a go for it and guess what, they won every time. Grayson took 10 mins to make a change and it was Nunez for Sam?? Clda gone with 5 in midfield or stuck Ramon up top in a 433

His tactics are poor. He seems too afraid or clueless to ever try a different formation or play different players to suit certain games.
Doesn't make the use of his squad, never rotates and just plays a standard 4-4-2, hoof ball and then only changes the team when we lose or is forced to by injuries.
