A month..

in the life of our dear football club, yep for me the next 4 weeks makes or breaks this great club of ours,i say this because i am cnvinced that if we go down we will not return and may plumit to the depths of the football league,,these owners seem to be completly oblivous to this fact if they arnt they are certainly dis guising the issue well,,Kean, well his next excuse is that "at lasty we will have our main two defenders back in the next week*,so another reason why we didnt win and this time its Nelson and Samba who are going to change our fortunes,,nope excuse after excuse will not change things, if we d not put 9 points on the board in the next 4 weeks..be proud guys you are watching the death throws of a once great club...

Agreed MJ - JW leaving was the biggest mistake along with not having (or not being willing to spend) their own funds to take the club forward.

Big Sam was an ideal manager for a club with a limited budget but he was not a 'Yes' man and did not fancy a visit to India every four weeks.

Our clubs loss.

Rover blue I share the same sentiments that we are in free fall and a rough ride in the Championship awaits then div 1 and 2.I got to thinking yesterday that Allardyce is taking West Ham up and his stint at Rovers saw cash coming in and established players Sam was good on the transfer merrygoround.Look at the buys weve made with Kean .

I am fed up with all this anti Kean propaganda. Come on he has won a handful of games in his one year tenure. He saved the club from relegation last season with a brainstorming first half at Wolves.
The performances this season have been mostly good. What would you rather have, hoofball Sam winning games or seeing some spectacular play without points?
We have never seen so many goals watching Rovers, stop complaining.
Also Kean has now improved the job market by needing a driver to take him everywhere because of his tactical drinking session.
Get behind the club and the owners and stop this negative stuff.
All above in the mind of WOW (he tried to chat me up the other night during a post)

Mcvenky's
Indeed I was not being serious, please re-read the post. It was an attempt at humor. So much so I cut and pasted in another post without the nice type of comment from someone like your self.
One thing that seems to be happening with this Kean/Venky's tenure, is that fans are bickering amongst themselves.
I was one of those who was willing to give Kean a chance. He had his chance to build his team and take control for the close season and pre-season. We had some tough starting games and now that is all over and despite the players wanting to play for him, quite simply he and Venky's are wrong for BRFC.
I doubt there is any genuine Rovers fans who can honestly say they still support Kean.
I gave him far more support than he deserved and I genuinely wanted him to do well as it would mean we were winning and would have a stable set up. Sadly this is lost and I can't see how the Club is to survive.

Well said RFIK...

Every fan wants the club to do well and succeed... but like you say Kean is not the man for the job.

A good coach he may well be, but as a tactician he is emabarrasingly short of the mark, and so full of nonsense cliche's that evertime he opens his mouth I cringe at what he spouts !!!

Very true. Either we get 10 points from these next 4 games or we don't and Kean is immediately sacked. Any other outcome and we are down without a shadow of a doubt. And as you say that will spell the end of this golden era of the last 20 years. Thats whats at stake.
