I hope this doesn't mean Kranjcar and Modric are going to react the same...
Tottenham Hotspur defender Vedran Corluka has confirmed that he will be looking to leave the club in January.
Corluka’s appearances in the Tottenham team have been limited this season thanks to the form of youngster Kyle Walker whose performances earned him an England call-up.
The Croatian full-back said: “Redknapp chose Walker and doesn’t see me in the defence, so it is logical to sit round the table and agree an amicable farewell. I will talk to people in the next few days.
“I don’t have the will again to wait months for a chance, to fight for a position when I see that the coach has other ideas."
Corluka has only started one match in the Premier League this season.
Croatian Exodus? Corluka leaving..

If you are saying that Sandro + Parker played adequately in providing sufficient of the attacking movement, fair enough.

Adam Smith looks a decent prospect as well as Naughton...
Would rather keep Charlie until the summer but I'm guessing he wants to get as much first team football under his belt as poss before EURO 2012...
Shame as he makes an ideal understudy to Walker and is best mates with Modric too...

I expressed my response to your question about missing Modric's creativity in my own manner - which is that we don't have to rely on the CM positions to create chances.
If that were true we would not have created twice as many chances as West Brom. Adequate attacking movement? For me? Yes - adequate but not exessive. To win the game? Obviously, yes.

Shame Charlie wants out so soon after being displaced by Walker. I suspect Harry has either told him he can no longer consider himself first choice or, Charlie using his noddle, and it is obvious, knows that Harry will always pick Walker ahead of him because he is more a "Harry type" player than himself.
Can't really blame him for wanting regular football at the age of 25 and with EURO 2012 around the corner.

It was away at Villa in Harry's first season. Ashley Young was roasting Do, Do, Do, Didier Zokora. Harry specifically put Zokora there because he thought Young's pace would beat Charlie. Hutton was injured I think. Corluka came on at HT and Young didn't have a sniff for the rest of the game. I love Charlie but if he's not prepared to fight for his place then his attitude is all wrong. How often do you hear a player under Fergie say that? He'd be out the door in a flash.

Gotta SAF.
I am truly amazed that there has been no public outbursts of late from Berbatov.

That's the kind of mentality you need at a club. Players need to push each other to perform.
I think we all know that Charlie will be in the Croatia team for Euro 2012 regardless of how often he plays for us this year.
His performance at LB for the national team a couple of weeks ago was first rate. How comes he was injured for us before that game and has been injured for us since?

For balance, AGAINST Corluka is the fact that Parker and Defoe are in the same position re Euro 2012.
Parker made it clear one of the reasons he's here is to secure his slot. And his play to date for us has helped him.
Similarly Euro 2012 is Defoes' last hurrah.
His chances are limited, but he is performing when they come. And may get him in the squad for the summer.
So it must also be with Corluka.
If Arry gives the squad better run outs in the PL (subs etc) , then that with upcoming Europa/FA cup games should provide sufficient competitive play for such players.
