This is actually quite an important game. I think that its crucial that we get through to the next round, and are able to field a very weak side v shamrock in the last game.
here is how things stand
POAK 8 points +3
Rubin 7 points +3
Spurs 7 points +2
Shamrock 0 points
all teams played 4 games
i can see harry involving some first teamers, at least on the bench.
here is how i think he will line up (and i agree if this is the team)
cudicini
corluka
gallas
bassong
rose
peinaar
sandro
carroll
dos santos
defoe
pav
subs
modric
bale
fredericks
gomes
livermore
townsend
kane

"Does our form i Europe not dictate our possible seeding in the CL if we get there again next season ? I am fairly sure it does so we cant afford to mess about."
No.
The UEFA pts determine that. The UEFA club nation ranking also assists. Pts are accrued by winning games. The MINIMUM target for Spurs this season is 17 pts.

So our performances in the Europa do affect it then ??
Sorry your answer has confused me, winning games in europe gives us points ? Yes ? No ?

grandspurs :
1 pt for each win.
The UEFA club nation coefficient is a bonus (which for England this yr is close to 2 pts) .
The CL give an extra 4 pts for being in the group stage, and an extra 4 pts for reaching the KO stage.
Team rankings operate on a 5 yr sliding window.
So the points accrued at year N, are replaced by the pts accrued on yr N+5.
So for Spurs, yr N = 17 pts.
Year N+5 (this season) = 6 pts.

So correct me if I am wrong but are you not telling me what I said originally ?
That our results in Europe effect our coefficient if we qualify for next seasons CL ?

If you replace the word "coefficient" with "ranking" , yes.

So after all that our results in the Europa do affect our possible seeding if we were to reach the CL next season then ?

Yep.
We'll be looking at "pot 3" at best.
Which means the possibility of a group like the one <Citeh> got.
This is one of the benefits of CL incumbency.
Take the G00ns. Never likely to win it. But always going far enough to clock up the pts to repeat again next yr in pot 1/2.
Liverpool OTOH show the effects of no UEFA action.
Their ranking has declined from pot 1/2 to pot 3 over less than 3 seasons.
