Why I Wouldn't Sign Adebayor

So far he's scored 7 goals in 10 games, a feat matched only for us by Jurgen and the peerless Freddie Kanoute. 

But I wouldn't sign him. I think he's been very wasteful to be honest. Our midfield has creation in the centre and pace on the wings - the amount of chances we create is amazing, yet I see Adebayor constantly shooting wide or putting gilt edged chances straight at the keeper. Of the 4 goals he's scored in the last 2 games the overhead was well taken, the other against villa was a tap in Harry's Missus wouldve scored thanks to a defensive error, and against WBA one was a rebound from a penalty that Adebayor himself had missed and the other a one on one which I felt was fortunate to go in as he, again, shot at the keeper. In those games he missed numerous chances. 

All this is before you get to his mental make up - a man who historically starts off well for clubs before getting complacent and lazy. He's up for it now, will he still be in march? More so will he still be when he's not playing for a contract and has his feet under the table? I'm not knocking the fact he's put some chances away and has so far played with a smile, but I really don't think he's a clinical enough striker and add that to the undercurrent of bad attitude that may resurface I personally wouldn't sign him. If we had a Suarez or Aguerro in his position our goals for column would be significantly better with our midfield.
