First Old Trafford experience

Hello my fellow JA606ers

I will be going to Old Trafford tomorrow for the first time in my life to watch United v Palace, very excited! Just wanted to ask those of you who go there regularly where are the best places to eat and is it worth grabbing something to eat at half time or not? Furthermore, me being a Muslim I was wandering if there are any prayer rooms at OT or Mosques near by?

What was your first Old Trafford experience like and what do you think the score will be tomorrow? I am hoping for lots of goals, (3-0 United) would love to see Morrison start alongside Pogba and show Fergie that they are ready to step up.

I believe the likes of Pogba, Morrison and Tunnicliffe will be embedded as part of Fergie's last great team before he retires, will it be Fergies Fledglings mark 2? Hopefully....

Hippo - Sturm Graz? Never ever heard of them, way before my time

-------------------------------------------------------------

2001 I think we played them in what were the days of the 2nd Group Stage.

My first game was against Benfica in December of 2006 when we needed at least a draw to qualify for the Last 16. Benfica like they did last week took the lead through a brilliant goal by their right back Nelson but thankfully we came back and won 3-1 in the end thanks to Vidic, Giggs and Saha. I can remember every detail from that game.

Enjoy yourself tomorrow night and wrap up warm!

Make sure you get your food from the 'porky pig'. Best place to eat outside the ground.

And get your self to Sam platts pub which is just down the road from the porky near the premier inn. You have to pay 2 quid in but they have a big outdoor marque rammed with united fans getting the chants goin. Cracking pre-game atmosphere. Might see you there

I was fairly young but it was a 0-0 in '77. All the kids were at the Stretford End front while the dads were a few rows behind us, great days. One thing I do remember, it how the pitch looks far smaller than on the telly.......and my dad took me to the Cup Final.....that was a great day!

my only experience of old trafford is when we drew 1-1 under king kev first game of the season 08-09 martins headed us into the lead for 10minutes and we were going bananas then you equalised and then we got relegated

The first time i went to Old Trafford United beat Arsenal 6-1. Great result but the game was finished at half time so that took away from it a bit.
First (and last) time i went to watch Blackburn they played Arsenal and Henry scored the winner in a 1-0 victory. A big group of us went but my brother and I decided it'd be better craic to stay in the pub and get drunk. I can't remember the name of the pub but it was funny having to lift our feet as the cleaners came in after kick off to hoover the floor.
