How Do We Line Up Vs Spurs?

I must say I feel rather sceptical about this game, but you never know who's going to turn up for us at the moment, so fingers crossed we have a Dr.Jykell day rather then a Mr.Hyde.

For me, 5 in midfield is a MUST. Both WBA and Everton just dominated the middle of the park against us, and we can't let that happen against a better Spurs team.

The defense unfortunately kind of picks itself. Robbo-Knight-Cahill-Steinsson. Only hope being Boyata and maybe Alonso are back. Mark Connolly and Adam Blakeman were very good in a Rezzie game today, Connolly with 1 goal and Blakeman with a brace. If it had been an easier fixture, I would of called for them to be in contention to. Given what a good job Steinsson did with Bale last time, I'm not as worried about him as I am about Robbo Vs Lennon. That could get very messy, we need to compensate with midfield.

My preferred 11:

-----------------------------------Jussi

-Steinsson-------------Cahill---Knight----------Robbo

-------------------------Muamba--Reo-C

-Kakuta----------------------Tuncay---------------Eagles

---------------------------------Klasnic

Would like to see either Muamba and Reo-c peel away and act as a second LB/RB when their attacks come. Might be a better idea to start Pratley in Tuncay's place as he has to act as the link between defence and attack, a feat that requires good fitness. Ultimately though, Tuncays ability to pick a pass may be crucial as chances could be few.

Steinsson v Bale.....Oh my god

-------------------------------

Steinsson will pocket Bale like he did last year - Steinsson is a poor full-back who allows his winger to cut inside and shoot, hence why Ashley Young being right-footed always bosses us, which is why last year he did such a good job on Bale who's weakness is cutting inside

I think we should play
Jussi, Steinsson, Boyata, Cahill, Alonso, NRC, Muamba, Eagles, Mavies, Kakuta, Klasnic

Bring your boots lads. Word on the street is that SOC will play one of us before he lets Gretar play at RB again!

Coyles aftermatch speech:

"I thought we were the best team for 10 minutes in thefirst half and if we had taken our chances it might have turned out differently than a 5-0 defeat"

"Spurs are a World class side and we were always going to need that bit of luck to get something from this game but things aren't going our way at the moment"

"When the players cross the white line and don't do what I say, what can I do"

"We have a lot of injuries, small squad & no money but we are determined to ride this bad spell and it will be back in training on Monday to work on our luck"

"Thanks"

Bricks, that aftermatch speech is clearly nothing like Coyle.

There wasn't a SINGLE use of the phrase 'Barclays Premier League'.

Or Bolton Wanderers Football Club. Or elite teams.

or " I always felt we were in with a chance ...until that fifth goal went in " .... and " Obviously, we've missed out on the points again, but, we'll take the positives out of this game, and work hard to turn this around "
