To all the lads who were pessimisstic at the start of the season.....
..... I humbley apologise for my optimism.

I wasnt pessimistic as much as I was realistic. I couldnt rightfully make predictions cos it was spoiling people's enjoyment of a purple patch, but i thought the plummet would be inevitable!

Clough has til xmas to get us back into the top 8 or he leaves for me.
The stupid board giving him the security of a 3 year contract was very short-sighted. Tom Glick mentioned QPR many times in pre-season as the blue print of a team that struggled one season and then led all the way the next, and said Derby would attempt similar. SO by Glick's words, Clough is failing.

I'd prefer to wait and see if Clough can turn our form around. We're not a top eight side. Forget that. What we need to do is make sure we don't embroiled in yet another relegation battle.
I doubt Clough is one of the better paid managers in this division. Personally, I think he'd waive what is owned to him in the same manner that Steve Maclaren did at Nottm Forest.
For me, if Clough goes, then so should the board. Why should one stay and the other leave - only because it's easier to sack the manager. The board remain - why should they? They've helped preside over this failure as well. They're just as culpable. To say it's just the manager is not entirely fair. What happened to our mythical Director of Football? The six experienced signings?
