December will be crucial (as always)

I'm a firm believer that there are no easy games in the Prem.

Having said that, I think Liverpools have a very good chance of collecting maximum points rom their next 5 games. The form of the team, the confidence and the impact of key players like Bellamy, Maxi and Suarez leads me to believe that we could really cement our place as favourites for 4th spot.

What I did was look at the next 5 games for each of the top 7 and calculated how many points each will take:

Here is the top 7 as of now:

Man City 35
Man Utd 30
Spurs 28
Newcastle 26
Chelsea 25
Liverpool 23
Arsenal 23

And here is my prediction of the top 7 after the next 5 games:

Man City 46
Man Utd 43
Spurs 41
Liverpool 38
Chelsea 35
Arsenal 34
Newcastle 33

It will be interesting to look back in January and see how far/close I am.

Post your prediction of the top 7 places in the comments section and we'll compare.

Its games like our next 5 that we tend to struggle in

Altho our last 3 games have been encouraging,I dont want to get too carried away

We won't loose any of these - but i would be surprised (pleasently LOL) if we won them all.

Lot of faith though - good times at the moment!

Nah, we do it every year. we get results vs the top teams and get humiliated by middle/bottom either by shock defeat or bore draw. A few 1-0 2-1 wins in between maybe but never good enough.

Fulham away is a very tough game.

Sure they are not winning many, but they are very good at home, already drew with Man City and deserved more in defeat to Spurs.

I am not looking any further ahead than Fulham. If we win there, then I might start to think we are about to embark on a winning run.
