Why Everton Are Better Than Liverpool

I'm going to demonstrate in 3 paragraphs why Everton are better than Liverpool.

1) Historic: Without Everton Football Club there would be no LFC. We even tried to go under the name Everton Sports Club but the council would not recognise our association so we were forced to change our name to Liverpool. We even tried to copy Everton's trademark blue kit for the first few years of our formation, and if we're honest, Everton have always been one step ahead of us when it comes to making bold decisions. 2) Team: The amount of money Liverpool have had to spend over the last 20 years is mammoth, and what have we got to show for it? A spawny Champions League win and a couple of minor cups. We've barely looked like threatening in the league despite our vast pool of resources. Everton on the other hand have had almost nothing. They've had to sell their best and brightest just to stay in business, but in the same stroke have managed to consistently finish in the top half of the Premier League, and when you look at our two sides, is there really that much of a difference? They are bringing through quality players like Rodwell, while we are splashing £20m on Henderson. Who's more likely to win his next England cap?

3) Fans: It could be argued that without the European ban, Everton would've gone on to become the dominant force in Europe. They had won 2 league titles in 3 years and had tasted European success in '85. Their Championship winning team however, was broken up after the ban and Everton have never been the same since. However their fans have stayed local and loyal throughout this unfortunate period, and it's a testament to their maturity that there is such a great camaraderie in the city.
