I don't want to come across like i'm knocking the man, but he is not half the player he was last season. My guess is that the pressue of being captain has got to him and badly affected his game, lets face it not all people are leader material, and Luke is one of them.
One other thing he is not is a right back, that's like going back to the Calderwood days, We have in my opinion one of the best right backs in the Championship In Chris Gunter, why the hell is Chambers getting picked ahead of him. Even when we have had to use Gunter in midfield why not play Maloney.
The way things have gone this season with the emergence of Joel Lynch, Chambers is prob the 3rd choice centre back, maybe a spell on the touchline will give him the little kick up his ar*e he needs.
Also give the captains armband to Lee Camp because when ever I listen to his interviews he comes across as a man who would be ideal for the job, and my guess is he would not mince his words and push the other players into playing better and with a bit more passion.

Lynch is injured so Chambers can revert to centre half.
Needs to relinquish the captaincy though.

Is Wes that much better than Chambo? I think they have been on a par this season. I think they have been found out to be honest, can't head a ball well enough (Wes usually gets more height than distance on his defensive headers) and lack pace.
Also I am getting bored of Wes receiving the ball from a throw in and just lobbing it behind the opposing left back, or receiving it from Camp and giving it back to him. This is not all Wes's fault of course as nobody is offering him an alternative.

I've said many times that there is nothing between Wes and Chambo but at the moment I think Luke's more in need of a break than Wes.
We need to set up for a clean sheet on Saturday. So assuming they are all fit I'd go for
