A very spirited show by Blues in Europe again tonight although unlucky with the deflected goal. Our limitations are beginning to be exposed a little recently especially in Midfield and Attack. The defence is great considering but the strikers are not taking their chances when presented but that is to be expected as they are not £10m players. We have so many corners in our games now because of the managers positive way of playing but we hardly ever looked a threat from them tonight- even with 6ft 7ins Zigic on the field. I don't believe we have our best penalty taker sorted yet...tonight,of the players on the field I would of chosen Murphy or Beaujesour to just blast it in - could of changed the course of the game that with it coming so early on!
Shame really...It looked to me like Braga were there for the taking tonight and am sure the players have done their best but were just not quite good enough...never mind - always next time!!
Spirited show in Braga by Blues.

There are better players than Zigic who have had a penalty saved.
Blaming the manager....did Hughton miss one as well ?

Gutted that we have lost BUT staying in The Championship, or even a cheeky play off spot, remains the main aim.
We have had some unbeleivable away days this year, coupled with exciting football, goals ( remember them?!) and winning away from home - twice.
In an ideal world we would qulaify and get someone huge; Valencia, Athletico Madrid etc.
Let's get behind the boys and take some decent numbers to Hull & Cardiff - 4 points please.
In Hughton we trust.

I will be there at Cardiff, don't think we have sold too many tickets as there are still tickets left today but who knows. Unfortunately due to work I will be unable to make Hull but getting my tickets for P'Boro next week.
I hope we get through in Europe too but if not its not the end of the world we have still done more than any of us expected us to do in Europe and I just hope everybody goes to the Maribor game in a celebratory mood. I would love to see all the flags down at St Andrews like we have seen at all the away games.

If Braga beat Bruges and we beat Maribor do we go through bcfc83?

Yes mate, as we have a better head to head record against Brugges. We live in hope.
The thing is Braga are second in the group but have already qualified due to their head-to-head record with us, yet Brugges are top and not qualified. Braga need to win to finish top and avoid the likes of Man city and co dropping out of the champions league.

Spot on BCFC, I thought they would play out a bore draw but it was pointed out that if there is a draw, Braga finish second and Bruges finish top and are seeded.
Braga will want an easier passage to a second successive final.
When we beat Maribor and Braga beat Bruges, then we will celebrate.
If it don't pan out that way, we can still celebrate.
I will anyway, celebrate our achievements in Europe, CH, the players, still having a club to support, everything.

Well said RBC. Like I said in a previous post lets hope we can all enjoy the night and we should all take our flags to show our support.
How did the move go anyway RBC?

The move went smoother than a Zigic penalty BCFC , started on Saturday with the removal lorry and finished the last stuff with a car load on monday.
