Do any of the players that you scout and sign ever become any good or is it just an un-neccessary feature? If they do progress how long is it before they are of an ok standard in general?

I got a youth player called Alberto Magliochetti, absolute beast. He's 6 foot 3 and has the strentgh of an ox. Was 71 when he finally became old enough to play for my squad, half a year of playing him in the second team and he is 74.

Got a CB called Matthew Locke looking very promising, in the second team at the moment, but i've put him on the first team bench a few times and never let me down. Sent him on a season loan at the moment...expecting a bid from liverpool soon

What second team? Do you just mean players who dont make the bench because I dnot have a second team?

yeah pretty much, I've got players in reserve incase of injurys etc then I can hopefuly promote them into the first team.
