Irelands Euro Finals Group!!

First off the fact our group matches will be held in Poland as oppossed to the Ukraine is great news for the Irish fans who will descend on the Euro Finals in their thousands next June.

The group we were drawn in is a tough one. No question about that.

We are really going to have to raise our game to have a hope of finishing in the top 2.

Spain,Italy and Croatia will not be easy sides to play against. Then again it is the Euro Finals so every side you meet will be a good side.


I would hope we can pick up points against both Italy and Croatia (maybe even beat one of them!!). Spain will be tough. Realistically they will probably beat us but then again maybe not!!! Along with Germany they are my favourites to actually win the tournament.

But one thing is for sure the Irish supporters will outnumber the opposing supporters of all the other 3 sides making the matches feel like home matches. This could work in our favour.

Anyway, really looking forward to this tournament and cheering on the boys in Green.
