I know it's early doors but we haven't got time to sit around and do nothing on the off chance he'll get it right.
Most fans didn't want him in the first place. We never thought he'd do a good job, 5 losses in 6 unfortunately suggests we were right.
Nothing against him personally, seems a nice fella but what's best for Nottingham Forest comes first. Surely no one thinks it's Cotterill?
Cotterill out!!

Tyson hardly ever played same with adabola and earnshaw wasn't always a regular under Davies. I'll give you McKenna but he got so bad some idiots started giving him stick.
Ask the fans and mangers of clubs. Say to them "if you could have the four players we've let go, or the four we've brought in" can you honestly say any would pick the four we've let go?
No chance. We've brought in more quality
Then we let go. It's up to the manager to get them playing and fond a system that works. A lot of clubs in this league would swap squads with us in a instant.

Also from 13th Feb to 9th April 11, under Billy Davies and 'This defence' we only won 1 in the 11 we played.
Sorry Sutton but your logic is flawed
_____________
I believe we lost 11 all season. We've lost 12 all ready this season. We also went unbeaten at home for over a calendar year in normal league games. And we did have one of the best defences in the league. Now we have one of, if not the worst. Split hairs all you like.
We were one of the best sides in the league over the last two seasons. With the same squad, with a bit more added. We're one of the worst. Fact!

tyson made 32 league appearances last season and dele 29.
most of dele's were off the bench and tyson started his fair share but it is incorrect to say they hardly played
you don't really want to listen to which four players the fans would rather have but i guarantee you'd get a variety of interesting answers if you asked the managers

The burdon of proof is not on anybody but you. You have called SC not good enough, therefore we are asking for your proof. That's how it works dear.

Right then dear. Here it goes.
Cotterill has no track record of success at this level.
The fans of the last club he managed were largely happy to see the back if him. Rumour at the time was he was close to the sack.
That suggests he was a bad appointment. 5 defeats in 6 after the initial honeymoon period suggest that's the case. We were in the bottom three when he came in and that's where we are now.
On the whole over the last two seasons we had one of the best defences in the league. Our current back five is the same apart from one member. We now have the worst defence in the league.
Overall we have more ability in squad. As have said above
"Ask the fans and mangers of clubs. Say to them "if you could have the four players we've let go, or the four we've brought in" can you honestly say any would pick the four we've let go?"
I've given proper reasons why I hold the point of view I do. All have had in response is, a bit stick, which I can live with and was to be expected. And people saying get behind him and give him a chance.
Apart from one poster no ones given me any reason to suggest I'm wrong. They're just saying support him, even though you think it's the wrong thing to do, because it's to early to call for him to be sacked.
I should blame the players, who've become useless over night instead.
I've nothing agianst him. As I've said I like him as a bloke and I'd love him to prove me wrong. I'd come on here and hold my hands up and take the stick. But nothing in his time at forest or in his previous career at this level will let me believe he'll ever be a success here.
We all want what's best for the club and this is what I believe is best. Unfortunately I believe results will bring others round to my way of thinking
