I really do feel that next weekend is win or bust time for Coyle now, Yes we were very unlucky today no way was that a sending off he was 40 yards from goal yellow card at best.
Jussi played out of his skin today and kept it from being 8-0 thank god for small mercies.
The question now is how much longer do we keep allowing this to happen every game now we all expect defeat and a home match versus an average Villa side is a must win game now as the weekend after we face the chicken farmers boosted by a solid win today against a very good Swansea side and then the barcodes who are in good form too.
After that we move into the new year and the ritual roll over and play dead games against the big boys losing 5-0.
If Coyle cannot lift HIS players and HIS team (yes these are his players now not Megson's) to beat an average Villa side on home turf then it is time he gets his P45 and goe's back to Dingle land.
And before all of you lot jump on me with your normal response who would we hire, who can we afford blah blah blah (yawn).
STEVE MCLAREN. unemployed, no compo fee and probably up to the job more than Coyle is a t present, If not McLaren the Hughes on a short term deal to raise his profile to bigger clubs in the summer.
Win or Bust against Villa.

keep your thieving hands off Hughes - Swansea result was just a blip - The Venky boys asset strippers will be fuming with Kean for picking up three points.

I might as well pick the team now:
Jussi
Steinsson-Boyata-Knight-Robbo
Mavis-Muamba-NRC-Eagles
Davies-Klasnic
I'm starting to think that giving Coyle the Villa game is one too many after the last 3 performances, as winnable fixtures are slowly but surely passing us by.
We are predictable, conceding a ludicrous amount of goals, getting dominated for possession and seem to have ran out of ideas.
I don't think Coyle now knows what changes in formation and tactics are required or how to implement them.
It cant be the players fault if they are asked to be doing the wrong thing, in the wrong place at the wrong time. We know they are a lot better than this even with the injuries.
McClaren would be the obvious choice and we could probably get him by Monday!

I expected a good 'ol thrashing and but for Jussi we would have got it. The sending off was a poor decision but the result was never going to be in doubt.
I do not believe there is a quick fix to this shambles.
Even the commentator on the game said we look favorites for the drop.

What we need is some luck to go our way for a change. Have Villa go down to 10 men...get an underseved penalty...anything .....to give the team some spirit that the world is not against them.
Can somebody tell me with all the donkey's on display that there is no room for Tuncay to come on for a miserable 15 minutes? and Kakuta? but I am treated to SKD being pulled off after 60 minutes.....now on a regular basis it seems.... to be replace by Pratts? Not saying that's the answer just an observation.

golden- if any team had someone slotting in 4 it helps!
Struggling to see where your goals are coming from- our major problem is a defence that looks likely (and does) crumble under pressure.
Our board is pretty much 99% the manager can't cut it- your board is a bit more split.
Personally I think Coyle is a decent chap but there was only one way Burnley were going and unless you get your main players back fit I think you could be going the same way. Not sure he has a plan B and plan A requires more technical players than you have or can afford.
Our meeting at Ewood on the 20th is another massive game.
