Thoughts on Villa and Coyle.

I still think Coyle will come good, just not at BWFC. I do think he'll get Villa at home, then we will see how that goes.
However i can predict what will happen, we'll pass it about and look good for about 15 minutes and not do anything with it, Davies missing a good chance from an Eagles cross.
Then there wingers will come into the game and have a good time getting forward and will be allowed to cut inside for Bent to convert.
Then a few of the players will start to blame each other and with the crowd rightly on the players backs we'll get into half time at 1-0 but still in the game because of a good save from Jussi.
Second half we'll come out and conced in the opening ten from a set-piece that a few years ago we would have had no trouble dealing with. Villa because of there will then sit back and let us come at them but won't be able to score because of a lack of ideas when going forward.
Meanwhile, Wigan have picked up a scabby point at Swansea leaving us bottom of the league. So yes, unfortunately it is time for Coyle to go. The big thing from those who still think he will turn it around is the idea of who will we get in to replace him.
It will be someone unspectacular but there are some managers about who will turn things around and see us take up 17th place. The people i am thinking of are Steve McClaren, who would get us solid at the back and build from there. Gordon Strachan is another manager who is keen to get back into the game. Mark Hughes is another who would be a very good and solid appointment. Sadly, my first choice decided to take his own life. There are managers out there who are without a job and would keep us in the league. If Coyle was Megson or Sammy Lee he would already be out of a job.

Dan. I can't quite believe that you and others seem to want to pin your hopes to Maclaren or even Hughes. People that don't care one bit if we get relegated. They will just walk away saying it was too late to do anything. Why do you think after Maclaren's disasters at Wolfsburg and Forest do you think he will be good for us? What about with England? He had one of the most talented squads but failed to qualify! Then you come out with Stracken!!!!! Some one SO bad that he has failed to get a job in any division since his debacle at M'boro!!! Stop trying to fix our problem and ride it out. We'll be ok.

Only person that I would contemplate changing OC for would be Big Sam and I probably still wouldn't change OC. Our luck will change.
