I am going to get ridiculed for this but….
I honestly prefer this team to the one of last year.
It has guts, balls, determination and salvation.
For example last year we wouldn’t have had the balls to continually attack Chelsea, whenever we conceded we curled up into a ball and hoped for the best.
Another example would be the Fulham game last weekend, we never really got going but we conceded and salvaged a point and in the end we could of won, whereas last year home games against West Brom and Newcastle we never really got going and ended up losing after conceding and never really looked liked scoring.
This Arsenal team has goals all over the pitch, Santos, Vermaelen, Mertesacker & Koscielny (potentially), Song, Rambo, Jack, Arteta, Gerv, Theo, RVP, etc etc
We have that beast of a goalkeeper WOJCIECH SZCZESNY.
And Mr Dench.
AND WERE USING THE WINGS TO GREAT SUCESS.
discuss.
This Arsenal Team....

Yea we definitely look more dangerous going forward. Also look less likely to let a 2, 3 or 4 goal lead slip.
I don't think it's anything to do with Fabregas's departure, more to do with Nasri leaving.
Nasri was/ still is a good player but he slowed everything down too much. Just endless passing and only for half a season he looked good when he was more direct but then he went back to being the old Nasri.

The team takes a much more practical approach. And whilst Fabregas was/is a world class player, it got to the point where EVERYTHING was centred around him and Arsenal were about the most predictable team in the League.
I think that was the main reason the side struggled so desperately at the start of the season, it was almost a case of "where's Fabregas? What are we supposed to do?".
In time the dynamic is working, Arteta is making a huge difference, I thought he'd be more of a pupet-master/string puller, but he's playing a very disciplined, selfless role and it's starting to pay dividends.

yeah nasri slowed us down soooooo much, i believe he was only bought in to cover rosicky when he was injured.
Thats why gervinho is better for us than $amir

Gervinho can be more frustrating than Nasri and imo he should be dropped for Chamberlain if his final product does not improve, but already he has contributed to the same amount of goals this season than Nasri had the whole of last season. Plus he's had a 3 match ban and this is his first season in the league!

==========
Are you sure?
Nasri scored 15 and assisted 5 goals last season.
Gervinho is on 3 and 7 at the moment (all competitions)

Gervinho is a good player and I think he'll prove to be a very astute signing.
He's coming from France, where he was superb for Lille, the Prem is a fairly big jump in quality and he's adapting slowly but surely.
He's very direct and for that reason he's a great option to have and I think he'll score a few goals come the end of the season.

i think he meant assists d'jeezus

D Jeezus, sorry I meant assists and it turns out he's assisted more!
And I'm sure by the end of the season he will be near that 15 goal mark, even if he is going to the ACON in January.

Oh, I just assumed you meant contributed to goals.
