Is Coyle a bad manager? Well the current performances would suggest so, although injury and suspensions taken into account I can’t say, but what I can say is that if he was a good manager he should be able to rectify the current situation to maintain our PL status.
Could BSA sort out the current squad to achieve better results by playing more direct in yer face football? I feel he could.
The players are not playing for Coyle and he has no plan B that will mean the inevitable. So if we continue employing the same tactics on & off the field it will be the championship for us next season and all the financial pitfalls that brings.
The first few fixtures along with injuries mean it has been tough, possibly having an excuse. In contrast a few seasons ago the Psychology & tactics would have been different.
Or does the answer lie with Steve McLaren or Mark Hughes I don’t think so.
There is another 72 points available to play for we are not going to get them all but is 36 too much to ask? I feel survival will require 34 that means we need 25 with the current squad of underachievers that should be manageable, but we have to stop being naïve and get back to basics, get tighter & don’t allow teams to play through, don’t allow time on the ball, retain possession for longer, stop defending deep, when the opposition have a corner leave one of our players in the halfway line, then there will be two less opposition players in our box and all the usual under 15’s stuff
So come on Owen stop being naïve & get it sorted!

The no plan b issue was what the burnley fans warned us about...i fear they may have been right...

coyle is not a bad manager. you've lost some decent players since last season, and have had next to no funds to invest in the team. i think he's been a tad unlucky aswell in some games.

a lot of players yesterday need to take a long hard look at themselves, only jussi came out of that game with any credit, which is just not good enough, although your down to 10 men,you need to bust a gut and make sure your 1st to the ball that didnt happen and hasnt done for quite a while now,its the players on the pitch that need to have the hunger to go out a get a win.not owen coyle, never mind tactics are wrong, making sure your 1st to every ball every time will do more to win games, and show the supporters your up for the challenge.

In my veiw, coyle should stay of course but try and be a little more savvy, we are getting turned over far to easily.
Look at it another way if someone had a poor game for SAF they would be dropped next game end of! I know we have a small squad but if they perform below par they should be dropped, how many times have we seen automatic selection despite abysmal form.

OC isn't a bad manager ...just out of his depth at the moment. He'll learn, but maybe not quickly enough to keep us up ...which leaves PG & Co with a choice of being relegated, or havin' one last throw of the dice to save Bolton's Prem status ..ie. trying a new manager.
BSA? Yes, he'd be almost 100% certain to keep us up. Would he ever return to Bolton? Not while PG's connected to the club, thats's for sure ...So, if a change has to be made ...it will have to be someone other than Big Sam ...

people call for tuncay / kakuta he must see these players in training, but by not playing them he maybe thinks there not good enough,if thats the case they should be sent back to there clubs in jan if thats possible, and look at players who can improve us,because with the debt we have there does'nt seem much sense in keeping them to fill the bench
