New player for January

Innocent Emeghara is supposed to be joining us from Lorient in January. He had a spell at FC Winterthur so FuzzyDuck may be able to tell us something about him. He is a 22 year old striker and 5ft 7ins

Speaking of blades can they be the reason there are so many injuries? Back to fix (the correct word was banned?) in studs I say. I've lost the plot with this thread. It's always pointless to dwell on the past as past performance is no guide to the future so what about new players in January?

I must admit I'd forgotten how many players we are carrying such as Spurr, Bouhenna, and Keegan. It seems the "bring in anybody" appears to be working if the performance against the Saints is an indication (I went to The Dell 1963-66 while I was at Southampton University, so loved the victory). After NY's recommendation, I went to the Saints' Player and saw more of the game. I thought the Rovers were impressive except for being caught out from long clearances (like England against Germany in SA 2010). Luckily, Ikeme was up to the job. I really feel we are going to climb to Table, but am a little concerned about January and who will leave or want to leave.

Hey Mickey

I think the future looks bright if, as is predicted the players coming in are going to be younger and better than those leaving. I do think that Ilunga, Goulon and Fortune` will go back to their parent clubs. I also hope that Beye and Ikeme will sign longer loan deals and of course Chimbonda and Diouf are our players.

I do think that Billy will go for 3 million plus which will provide the money to bring in more players, whether on long or short term contracts. We know that Sall and possibly Emeghara could be on their way along with other top signings.

To make way for these I see Stock going to Burnley on loan, I see Wilson going back out on loan and I see Naylor not being given an extension . I do see Giles Barnes being extended and I also think that Hird is picking up a lot from playing alongside a proven leader such as Beye.

We will have Spurr, Lockwood and Chambers back from injury with, hopefully, Keegan and Bouhenna back to supplement the squad. I hope that Dumbuya gets a chance to prove himself. I also think when fit, Shelton Martis will go out on loan along with Martin Woods and young keeper Gary Woods, possibly with Gillett depending on who comes in at midfield.

All in all I am looking forward to the New Year with a lot of anticipation that we will do well and avoid the drop.

According to French newspapers we are looking at Lynel Kitambala from St Etienne. 23 year old left winger.

When it comes to Dumbuya my brother was parked near him on Saturday. Dumbuya arrived and went in to the Keepmoat, returned to his car and drove off very fast in what appeared to be an unhappy state. Read in to that what you will! My guess is he can see the writing on the wall.

Re: Muzzy.
I read on another site a piece by Saunders in which he was praising Muzzy's first class attitude and determination so it would appear that he rates him.(If you believe all you read).

Can anybody tell me why Mussey wasn't on the bench at Millwall when we were short of players? especially when Deano rates him so highly?

Think he was carrying a knock alex and even though he was injured we managed to put out a decent bench considering so was "resting" so I've been told but as you know yourself do you believe what you hear???
