Half a centre half or two

New centre half pairing or stick with Pelts and Bamba. do you risk Tunch for lunch? I hear that hes off in January.

Oh Nev, you cheeky little sprite!

I wonder how many people on here will remember or even know of those Tunchev leaving arguments

I remember the Tunchev leaving arguments. they came just after the historic "I Weale good enough" debate and just before Trev's epic "Scoreboard scandal".

Ahhhhh, those were the days.

Tunchev on the bench, Mills off in jan

I have to disagree Merseyside, they came before both - the argument about Tunchev arose in League 1, way before Weale came to the club. Trev's scoreboard scandal I believe came between the two.

I remember because I'm hardcore.

If someone came in for Mills in January and offered anything more than 4 mill I'd snap their hand off. We have 2 very capable and worthy CB's and the urgent backup (if ever necessary) of Michael Ball.

Mills has looked poor alongside the might of Bamba for most of the season and has probably lost us more points than gained. Going forward, he has ruined plenty of chances and took the pressure off the opposision.

Yes he can stand up and get stuck in and yes he can win headers, but for me we need more than that from our CBs to get promoted.

I miss the scoreboard scandal......................

As it happens Nev, in way, was right about Tunchev leaving us that January. He picked up his injury and has hardly been seen in a Leicester shirt since.

I blame you for that Nev, he was fast becoming one of my all time favourite players until that fateful night at Selhurst park.

Anyway, if he's fit, I think I'd like to see Tunchev with Bamba. 2 completely different centre backs. 1 quite pacey, flash and full of flair the other as cool as you like, never under pressure and reads the game quite well (at least that's how I remember him before Nev putting some sort of hex on him!)

In a way Trev was right .... the scoreboard was never fixed.

I would be interested to know what Trev makes of the TV screens.

Those where the days my friends lots of banter about the important things in life.

I love Tunch although he's not that good looker he had calmness and class. The big but is has he stilll got it?

As for Mills i think people are looking for a scapegoat and he fits the bill. Expensive, error prone and not Jack Hobbs. But i would not wipe off a £4M investment just yet hes going to come good.

I miss the volume of the posters from 606 but while i have still got you lot even here in the desert i'm home.

Must go begining to Weale up.....boom boom
