I watched Gourcuff against Madrid and he was good, VERY good. Excellent in fact, best player on the pitch by miles.

I remember when Arsenal fans on this board were moaning about us potentially signing him. IMO, our standards are too high sometimes

Different player to goetze and hazrard we need a man to replace arshavin and rosicky on the flanks our cm's are fine can't see him being a better option than ramsey, wilshere or arteta as a creative cm

Speed of overmars, as a creative midfielder, he is better than arteta and arguably ramsey

Better than Ramsey I think but we don't really need him, he isn't consistent but maybe the professor could get him back on his promising track of before

Don't really see the point, would much rather someone who can play out wide also eg hazard or goetze.

We will essentially have Ramsey, arteta, wilshere, gourcuff playing for 2 spots, with rosicky, benny, arshavin all waiting around too.

he is a better player yes but my point is i don't think it's a position we particularly need a signing in, especially in january for me a wide man or a striker are far more important

Wouldn't mind him. we know he's not the same as he use to be and hasn't lived up on his expectation. Also he's been overtaken by Nasri and Marvin Martin in the french team but I still would be happy if we signed him mostly because he's still good and Wenger acually singed someone

I really want Goetze the most. He's the real future, he's got every thing pace, technique, control etc. Also been hearing about Pato today. Wouldn't mind him.
I wanted Hazard so much in the summer but i'm getting sick and tired of him and we all know Real Madrid are going to get him he sounds abit cocky acting like he's gonna be there. Still wouldn't mind him
