Modric is a quality player, you can't have watched him many times if you think otherwise.
If Andy Carroll is a 35 million pound player Modric should be worth 50m

If we let Moddy go, for whatever price, it will be an admission that we will never win the title.

I don't care if Moddy wants to leave for Chelsea, he signed a contract to stay with us for another 6 years, of which he's barely into his first year. If the club has any ambition it has to tell Moddy that he's staying, and then we have to get the players in around him to prove that we mean business.

If we let him go, we will be conceding ground to 'Pool, and will be fighting it out next season with Everton and Villa for 6th place. That simply will not be good enough.

Andy Carroll is only that much because he's english. Benzema is 10x the player carroll is and im sure he cost less. Would you not be happy if you got 30 mill and drogba?

He only started getting games for Real when Higuain got injured and Adebayor came and provided competition for him

Don't get me wrong, Carroll was over-priced but find a better comparison than Benzema

What's really annoyed me, is that Moddy has come out and said that players come to Spurs in order to build their profile and then leave. It's an admission that when he signed his contract he was treating it as nothing but a joke.

Levy has got to tell him and his greedy rat of an agent, that Spurs expects Moddy to honour at least another three years of his contract.

You can buy quality strikers for 25 million. I'm not saying Odemwingie is your answer,but Falcao he might be around 30 mill,Barca might be sellin Villa they want cash,30 mill. Could you imagine Drogba and either falcao,villa or benzema or higuain upfront. Be unstoppable. I can't see Madrid keeping both if they get Neymar,and with your creative players e.g bale,vdv,lennon,sandro. You'd be laughing at Chelsea imo

The Champions League games against Lyon summed up his season perfectrly to me. Yes he scored in both legs but spurned numerous good chances

His record against the top teams speaks volumes. IMO he'll be off back to Francesooner rather than later

Have to say I'm not Villa's biggest fan either. Barca should hav kept Eto'o. In fact, if I was in Guardiola';s shoes I'd be pleading with the Barca hierarchy to by back Eto'o

I think Villa will be off. Barca need cash as they want Fabregas and Sanchez who'd play in Villas position. I agree Eto'o is better,But saying that they can sell Ibrahimovic because isn't he still a loan player at AC?
