Is he the one to solve our CF problem sorry i just can not see it.
BOLTON are poised to throw a Premier League lifeline to Newcastle outcast Nile Ranger.
England Under-19 striker Nile Ranger has been transfer-listed, having failed to convince Newcastle boss Alan Pardew that he has a long-term future at St James’s Park.
Championship outfi t Millwall would love to take the Londoner back to the capital but can’t afford the £1m fee.
That leaves Bolton in the driving seat, although Leicester are also keeping a close eye on the situation.
Reebok boss Owen Coyle is on the lookout for fresh attacking talent after Johan Elmander’s departure to Galatasaray and could be willing to gamble on Ranger’s raw talent.
The 20-year-old has had his disciplinary problems at Newcastle.
He ran up thousands of pounds worth of fines for being late and three months ago was pictured with a gun in a gangster pose.
The youngster has yet to open his goals account in the top fl ight.
But he found the net at Chelsea in the Carling Cup last season and showed glimpses of his potential in several appearances as a sub.
NEWCASTLE boss Alan Pardew has made his second summer transfer breakthrough by landing Senegal striker Demba Ba.
The ex-West Ham star yesterday agreed a three-year deal to join £4.3m Marseille midfi elder Yohan Cabaye, 25, as a close-season capture on Tyneside.
Ba, 26, arrived 24 hours after Toon skipper Kevin Nolan moved to Upton Park for around £4m.
The hitman said: “There was interest from other clubs but I just wanted to come here.
“Newcastle have a great team. I believe it will be even better next season and I will get better too."
Nile Ranger ready to make Bolton move?

No we don't want no gun toting huddy gangsta with issues at Bolton.
Armed street robbery, done time, gun photo, can't get out of bed!
It wouldn't be safe to park our cars at the Reebok.
Even with limited resources, I'd like to think we can do far better than that in the striking department.

I think this is just rubbish journalism, I really can't see us bidding for him. In fact I cant find a single article on him switching. Where is this from.
Interesting that tribal football think we are still in for Jerome, despite the fact Gartside publicly denied it about a week ago!!

Actually on the pitch he has looked decent. Certainly a handful but if he hasn't scored so far in the prem, then why would we be after him?
Off the pitch he is an obvious lunatic, for that reason, I am out

TRR - The goal reason is the main reason why I don't think we'll sign him. We don't need handfuls, we need goalscorers. I'm not doubting that he could come good just that it'll be a bit of a risk signing him.
plus the fact the only report I can find of this is in the daily star.

I'd be disappointed if he signed.
But then, can Owen transform him?
