As a City fan i find it quite amusing listening to all these Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs fans giving the Manchester teams abuse after our Champion's league downfall. They do realise that City and Utd are a guaranteed premiership top 2 this season and that the premiership could potentialy lose a Champion's League spot due to the Manchester team's poor European performances.
Basically if the premiership loses a Champion's league spot and only 3 teams qualify for the Champ's League then it'l be Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and maybe even Chelsea who'll be feeling the pinch, not Man City or Man Utd. All this, "enjoy channel 5" talk could come come back to bite you all in the back side when it's your team playing in it next season.

Chicken, I presume you mean my prediction for the Everton game? Yeah I got my prediction wrong, you were correct, well done sir!
Dont understand why you were sneering at me trying to explain why though, I wasnt a WUM, I just had a different opinion.

I wasn't sneering. The problem i had with your prediction was your flawed "tactical reasons" for it. The only reason you went for the draw (at the time) was because the game was so far ahead & you didnt want us assuming our points total would be so close to yours.
I'm still convinced that you would have gone nowhere near a draw result, if you had the chance to put money on it.
Oh...and i didnt call you a WUM.

But you DO lack a cutting edge at times when teams pack their own half, as you have learnt recently due to your strong form.
I regularly bet on United and Spurs to win in my accumulator because I count on being unlucky.

I never bet on my own team, not to win anyway.

I actually had a wager on your lot last night.
Ladbrokes is on my way home from work & they were offering 3/1 on, i only had £15 on me so just stuck it on - last of the big spenders eh?
Oh well, that will pay for my lunch time beer & a packet of crisps.

Like that guy that accrued about 10k backing surefire winners for a few months. Now THATS tactical reasoning!

"The dead cert man".
Thats how i do my betting, but i bet with £10's & £20's - not £10k & £20k's.

Better interest on a lump sum than you'd find at a bank these days, and thats including the odd shock.

Rocket,
I was saying exactly the same thing to a work colleague yesterday, just prior to entering Ladbrokes.
