As it says.
Shame.
Never saw enough of him, good at breaking up the play and playing the simple pass, but like bambi on ice, gangly and falls over a lot.
Not too upset though, was never more than 4th choice, and not the sort of player suitable for a top-end Championship club. (looking ahead before I'm accused of arrogance)
All the best Oscar, and thank you for the memories, especially this one:

All the best next season Terriers, and hope you and Oscar can join us.
Also, have you guys heard anything about Peltier and Pilkington linked with moves to us, or is it guys on our forums talking out of the wrong oriface?

All am saying 38 if your team is in div 3 don't expect beautiful football , poor football in the norm in lg 1 , that's the downside for being a supporter of a lower lg team , if we were in the champ we would see a lot better football that's why we want to go up so much .

never in the field of lower league football, has so much been paid, to so few for so little....
we were paying lots of players championship money, same as brighton and southampton...
why didnt we go up??? why was the standard of our play so low???
loui, there is only one answer to the above..
we paid too much to too many for little in return.. its a simple fact, clark has no get out excuse... we set out to do too little too often in games and settled for less far too often.. the manager and the players set targets too low too often and barely managed to meet those targets too many times..
we started playing like the opposition in the games and then we set out in games to play like the opposition and too many ended up in very dull draws..
we didnt go up, we spent enough to do so at a canter, i rest my case..

U6697 your assumption is based on what regarding Gobern? That he hasn't played 500 games so therefore he doesn't know what he's doing? No one has seen him play your only basing your opinion on what the Southampton fans say about him, give the lad a break. If he turns out to be the player of the season you won't be saying that.
And I have never "banged on about" selling our best players based on rumours. If any of them want to leave its probably better they go as it means their minds are elsewhere and not on doing their best for Huddersfield Town.Nor have I called for Clark to be sacked, quite the opposite in fact,I have backed him to hilt.
We don't know what this lad can do or what he can't do at the minute so give him a break. You can make a informed decision on what you see rather than what the Saints fans say.

This record breaking unbeaten run that we had last season that ultimateley meant nothing will also have been a record breaking season in travel expenses, Hotels, Training facilities and flights, No long coach journeys for our lads, No basic Travelodge type accomodation and no fish n chips on the way home.
Going back to the "Division 3 is always rubbish", I recall seeing Town playing some great football in this league in the early 80s, I also recall sides like Pompey, Stoke, Bolton n Barnsley gaining promotion playing terrific stuff in division 3.
Last seasons league was the poorest i can recall for a long, long time.

the away game at dagenham brycey...
it was quite awfull...it was the standard of a poor sunday pub team game, im not joking..
i could not believe how bad they were and we just decsended to the depths and stayed there...
uttter, utter sh-te from beginning to end..
at least the town players knacked straight off at the end, they knew had bad it had been although clarke talked it up, strong team, tough place to come etc etc..
i wrote to deano after that one and asked his "honest" opinion, give him his due , he was honest about it..

ENGLAND U21S..
one nil up with ten minutes to go..
game over, make subs drop back, see it out...
stuart pearce must be crying in his sleep having to coach in this way..
seems the lee clark style of coaching has now been forced on everyone..
once in the lead or you are getting a "creditable" draw , immediately stop trying to win the game...
its sh-te and its backfired on england, like it backfired on us a number of times last season..
its about time we stopped paying stupid money for average, massively over coached players and coaches who would ruin messi if they get hold of him..
possession football has to be full of ambition to get forward and once in the lead to keep the ball and punish the other side who have to come onto you..its not keeping hold of it and going nowhere whilst you drop deeper and deeper..
henderson 16 million quid, someone, somewhere is having a right laugh...

Think the Liverpool fax machine keeps leaving the . out 38 when making offers. Surely what they ment to bid was 3.5 million for Carrol, 1.1m for Adam and 2.0m for Henderson.
I think some of these coaches need time away from football to see things from the outside. They are so close to the players and try be so clever they miss the blatant obvious common sense options.

On Talksport the other morning Brazil n Irani n others were arguing/debating the "coaching badges" sketch.
Brazil was the one on the Natural Managers (Clough, Shanks, Paisley, Fergie) side of the coin, Irani on the "Do the courses, Coaching, Man management, People skills" side of the coin.
I prefer Brazils views.
Clark is from the other side of the coin, Manufactured managers/coaches, But who are they mentored by ?
