When did you start getting into basketball? And which team did you support?
For me it was all because a couple of my close mates and I watched 'Like Mike' at one of our friends sleepovers when we were younger. The day after we spent the whole time trying to emulate the moves he pulled off. From then we thought we would give basketball training a go and never looked back.
Then-on after I knew I was going to be a fan.
I also support San Antonio Spurs. This is partially because they had the same name as my beloved Tottenham Hotspur, and also because they are from Texas which is where I used to live. Little did I know at the time that supporting them is a very 'plastic' thing to do. At least I didnt jump on the bandwagon of poor supporters and support the Lakers though!

I own 3 different Spurs tops lol.
Despite living in Dallas, I just hated the Mavs, especially Dirk as he plays very boring basketball.

Hey guys, I reckon I got into basketball some time during the 2005-06 season; mainly because I was part of a school team that was one of the better teams in our area. We used to play during school breaks and on the weekends and all started following the NBA pretty closely.
I chose the Celtics because it was my inheritence; my dad went to uni in Boston, Mass, in the 70s and so he started following them then. I feel pretty lucky that my small time supporting them has coincided with their best period in 20 years - this contrasts with the mighty Spurs, so my life's equilibrium is maintained

I used to like the Celtics back when they had Ricky Davis and got that triple double by taking a shot at his own net lol.
First and only team I have seen, Ray Allen chucked a t-shirt into the crowd and I caught it. So cool
