A great start from the Kiwi bowlers, in particular the ever reliable Chris Martin, sees Australia slump to 6/70. The inexperienced Aussie top order crumbled on a sporting pitch and now it's all up to captain Michael Clarke to salvage the innings and try to prevent the Kiwis from taking a crucial first innings lead.
None of Khawaja, Hughes or Warner have made a particularly strong case for their inclusion in the squad to face the Indians in the boxing day test.
A result is certain with everything to play for and New Zealand will be eager to capitalise on their good bowling performance and draw the series.

Ross Taylor, you need to get a big score mate!
We might be a poor test nation, but I gotta say we have some talent with the likes of Williamson, Boult, Brownlie and Bracewell
Oh and Ponting's LBW and Clarke's leave
