Evans was immense today

Remember lads, we only played Wolves at home so lets not get too carried away, it wasn't going to be too difficult to get a win....its great we scored more then one goal and you can only beat who's infront of you, but we need to produce these kind of performances more often then not.

I couldn't care less about Sneijder as a person, wanted him at UTD quite a lot but didn't happen.

were you at the game? Seriously Evans is one of the weakest defenders we've ever had. I do admit his passing is very good and he can start attacks but defensively he couldn't win anything in the air and Wolves' gameplan was hoofing it towards Evans. He's too much of a liability and when teams put much more pressure on he panics and is even worse.

Jones, Carrick and Nani were absouletely brilliant today. Valencia looked his old self, Welbeck was great at closing down and was energetic. It was a great team performance but Evans was no way the best player on the pitch, it's different when you watch it on these Japanese streams rather than actually there.

No surprise that when Young is dropped we play better.

Awful signing totally not required when 18 million could have been spent in CM (however in CM today we looked top class)

I don't think we were watching the same match, and actually watched it on setanta rather than a japanese stream but whatever.

I didn't say he was the best player on the pitch but he was a lot better than you give him credit for and made some great blocks and tackles that I guess you didn't see

I think the credit you're giving him is given too lightly, I'd argue without Ferdinand today we'd have conceded 3. Rio was the far superior defender today, anticipated and was composed. Evans made some good blocks indeed, but in no way was he 'immense' I'd say he was the 8-12th best person on the pitch in all honesty.

Evans really is a liability but sometimes he can look class which them makes people think he's good.

However he worries life out of me and majority of Utd fans !!

100% agree, Evans had a really solid game for us, as he often does. The lad gets so much undeserved criticism.
As for the CP comment, every club’s going to have their share of plastic fans and he’s just one of ours. There are plenty of us on here who want a sensible debate and don’t criticise our players at any given opportunity. We all want the best for our team and yes some players are bound to have off days, but any real fans of the club will get behind these players and look to the positive aspects of their game rather than calling for their head.

sure i wrote an article the other day looking at the positives when we went out of the CL and got absolutely slated, shows how peoples views change on here so quickly
