'Not getting carried away'...as if.

I posted an article a few days back saying that we shouldn't get carried away, sunderland will be a very tough game etc etc.

It proved that today. That was the biggest Sunderland home crowd of the season bar their derby game vs Newcastle.

People are saying it looked liked we played with 10 men in the second half. To me, Kean (through no fault of his own) having no subs available for almost the entire second half is similar to playing with 10 men, especially when one of the players who had to play 90 minutes was Dunn! He was a passenger.

On the plus side, Formica looked bright in the first half and offered ALOT more tracking back than Rochina does on that right hand side (remember when out right side was exposed at Wigan when Rochina played). Before the injuries started to kick in we looked really solid on our right flank. Salgado was doubling up with Lowe really well.

Granted, Yakubu was shattered. But again, like Dunn he would never have completed the 90 mins under normal circumstances and with less enforced subsitutions. Playing under those conditions in the second half was akin to playing with 10 or even 9 men, especially after 70 mins!!

If we had got beaten 2-0 fair and square having never taken the lead I think this board would be alot quieter. We all expected Sunderland to charge out of blocks and look more lively with the 'new manager' vibe. It is because we had the lead and they came from behind it makes it look like we threw the game away...

in truth there is no way you can legislate for losing 3 defenders (well I guess salgado was actually classed as a midfielder today) by the start of the second half.

Like I said the other day, west brom and bolton are the priorities.

Not getting carried away? and the rest...

Damian, just ignore it. Feeding trolls only ever leads to the troll getting fatter and more 'relevant'.

Diamon Dust.

Please have a look earlier in the thread to see who threw the first insult. Something along the lines of 'lose your virginity.'

Steve Kean threw a personal insult at a fan by calling him a doughnut.

Now Kent you missed the subtlety, by picking on Damian's incorrect use of grammar I gave myself the tag of a troll too, see? Is funny no? Here have a smiley face, share it with the world!

My dads bigger than your dad!

Seriously. Over 18 stone and only 5'9, high blood pressure and in his late 50's. I worry for him...

Is that true? Even if you're anti-Kean you have to say fair play to him for giving some back.

I would call Kean a to both his faces!

The fan in question asked when he was going to resign at the open training day. A fair question. Steve Kean made it personal and you criticise those who do that.

That's what Kean, Venkys and Wow fail to realise.

The Club has a 135 year history; owners, managers and players are just custodians. The Club belongs to the town and the generations of people who have supported the Club rather than used it to further their bank balance!

Kean Out, Venkys Out, Wow Out!

I would have some respect for the fan if he hadn't needed his son to egg him on!

'Have some guts Dad.'
