Team vs Aston Villa

Why start now when Suarez is head and shoulders better than Carroll. Carroll will get game time once Suarez IS suspended

Not saying Carroll should replace Suarez but play with him in place maxi or Bellamy I would probably say Bellamy and bring him on in place of Carroll around the 70 min mark

Weather or not kenny would not of spent 35 million quid on him if had not got plans for Carroll. I have full faith he will come good just needs a run of games anda few goals.

Carroll is the new Crouch. What i mean by that is once he gets a couple he will get more. The only difference is that crouch got so much more game time and was able to keep the run going. When Carroll has scored or had a good game (wolves), he is either out of the team again or like last season injured. I do believe he will come good but playing for maybe 5 mins each week will not be helping. After all with the amount of goals we are scoring (not) he could not do any worse than the rest of them.

Suarez has two hours to respond to FA charge. It is inevitable he will be banned for a period of 1-6 games over christmas, so with that in mind:

There's still enough there to deal with Villa in my opinion.

I'm with the god fowler and I think that we can't do much worse in playing Carroll no one else is scoring so why not give him a run of games and see.

The problem when carroll is playing is that we result to hoofing which results to loss of posession and therefore less chances created. So if we are doing badly(goalwise) when we are creating lots chances, will we do any better when we create less chances? In absence of suarez, lets have maxi and Bellamy and carroll come in the last 20-30 mins.

I don't understand, does Carroll make the players hoof the ball? I hope that given a run of games players will stop hoofing and play as normal, but as soon as he is playing they use him as an easy way out rather than passing.

He wins the flick ons but theres never anyone with in 20 yards of him when he does.

Carroll has not played last few games ive seen him play in recently, the last one chelsea i think he worked really hard and is good defending set pieces too.

Could make more runs into the box but i'd prob be the same if i made a few runs and my team mates decided not to stick it in the box id get fed up and think well im not making them anymore.

We have Downing and his best asset is probably his left footed crosses with charlie and enrique too and johnson on the right with stevie g back theres no read why we should'nt work it wide and just constantly whip balls in for him.
