Was it just me who noticed the 4th official, Mark Halsey, pat Lescott on the chest in the tunnel just before the game and say to him:
''I want you to score this game''
when asked why, he replied - ''you know why ''
Completely perplexed me.
Please say someone has this recorded on Sky+. I don't think he knew the microphones were on him.
Had a cheeky bet on perhaps; SCANDAL? Or perhaps he just had him in his fantasy team and was having a mare of a gameweek, as I have.

Yeah I watched him say something about "hope you score today" or something, but nothing suspicious, probably a bit of an "in" joke.

ha ha wouldn't surprise me....
joking aside and i am sure it was all banta but even so are the refs not suppose to be completely neutral? and not "hoping" for any particular player/team to score.
that has to be a ban waiting to happen!
