Well after our first defeat I thought I would be more deflated. Despite being away at title challenger in their “must win game", terrible conditions, a referee clearly out of his depth, and over 30 minutes with 10 men, we only got beat by a penalty.
On the upside, we should have scored 3 in the first 20 minutes. We had a “stonewall" penalty denied by an incompetent referee and overall with 11 men, we were well in the game. Chelsea looked less like scoring when we had 10 men than when we had 11.
We had to lose at some point and in the long run losing points at Chelsea is less damaging than losing points to Utd or Spurs IMHO.
Win on Sunday and move on.

Remain humble my friends. Forget all the excuses and face reality. Your opposition want the win as much as you do, so it is always down to preparedness and taking your chances on match day. You guys are new to this whereas, Chelsea, Arsenal and United have been there done that. Don't think Sunday's game againt Arsenal is a given. You might be in for a shocker.
Remain humble my friends.

In a perverse kind of way I am almost glad the monkey of not losing is off our back. Hopefully we can concentrate on enjoying the game instead of trying to defend a record like I feel we have been doing.
