Good hello. As you all know the January transfer window is looming. We're all eagerly awaiting for the transfer window to reopen. I'm personally anticipating to see who Man Utd sign. Several sources have reported that bacon-face will be signing to players under the age of 18 from PSV — that's him done until the summer.
Last seasons finest lastminute.com deal has to be Parker. He heads the list of the greatest deals to be done in the last-minute before the deadline. Perhaps Arsene Wenger should have snapped him up but 'Arry deserves to be credited for what would be a superb bit of business.
Parker has been outstanding for his club and country, he also won the Football Writers’ Player of the Year award last season. He is an outstanding holding midfielder and would be ideal for Arsenal if Spurs fail to get anywhere in the near future.
Bendtner, Hoilett, Al-Habsi and Rodallega are also other eye-catchers. That's if the right manager at the right club can get them on the right deal they could prove be decent lastminute.com signings.
Nasri was the worst lastminute.com worst signing this season. Was he actually worth £22m with just a year left on his contract. It’s hard to justify that. But after all, we've spent millions on average players over the years so I wasn't actually shocked when we initially signed him.
On the other hand, Arsenal will be struggling to offload Bendtner because they are going to demand £10million plus for a player who can’t get into their team regularly. But they don’t want to splash out for Cahill. Work that out.
Finally, away from the bargains. How many players do you think are going to be victims of lastminute.com signings this season?

"He obviously knows a lot of Everton fans and they're all not that bothered"

How do you know he's not lying? How do I even know you're not lying?
"Everton have plenty of creativity in midfield, it's their strike force which is rubbish."

Osman is their only creative midfielder, and he's not even that creative

Signing Parker was a step backwards for Spurs. They had been building a devent midfield with VDV and Modric but spoilt it somewhat with that one.
I'm not saying Parker is a bad player, but Spurs could have done much better - not that I'm complaining obviously.

A step backwards? the FWA obviously disagree with that - Parker was a good buy, even if i didnt see it at the time, and has been a revelation in the Spurs Midfield, however Arteta hasnt exactly written the headlines at Arsenal.

The Football writers start with a very short list of players to choose from, based on nationality rather than pure talent. I wouldn't trust their judgeent.
As for Arteta, you only have to look at the results in the league before and after he signed. I don't believe he is the best player in his position, but he has done a job for us, as I suppose the same can be said for Parker at Spurs.

they don't really have any proper creative midfielders.

Bilyaletdinov, Drenthe, Barkley, Osman and Coleman.
Rodwell and Cahill are quite handy in attacking as well.

Bilyaletdinov, Drenthe and Coleman are wingers. Barkley is still only 18, they're hardly going to rely on him.And Cahill is more of a forward than a midfielder imo.

Bilyaletdinov is an attacking centre midfielder actually

He hasn't played in midfield since joining Everton.
